(Accounts for cases in which a person maybe infected but is not quarantined as he/she does not show symptoms. Works only in quarantine mode.)

Instructions

  • This Simulation is based on the SIRD (Susceptible, Infected, Recovered and Dead) model of infection spread.
  • Aim of the project was to check how the older population is at a higher risk of death from such Epidemics.
  • Every human has certain Probability of getting infected and recovers or dies after a period of around 12 days and further it cannnot infect other humans.
  • Click Reset to accept changed parameter values or follow it up with a mode:
    • Market Mode: Simulates situations in which people gather at a central location.
    • Quarantine Mode: When activated it gathers the infected in the quarantine zone!
    • Community Mode: Shows effects of community travel.
